Propylen (nylon) 2.0 non-absorbable suture
It is mainly used to hold in contact or bring together soft tissues even in ophthalmological operations, in operations on the cardiovascular and nervous system.
It is particularly compatible with tissues. It is not absorbed by the tissues, does not degrade and is not weakened by the action of proteolytic enzymes.
It is especially recommended for use on wounds that are either infected, or easily infected afterwards. It does not adhere to tissues and is easily removed.
It is usually removed within a month.
