Egen® Self-Test Covid 19, with nasal smear.

It is an in vitro diagnostic test based on the principle of immunochromatography for the qualitative detection of SARS-Cov-2 nucleocapsid protein antigens in nasal swabs. The detection relies on antibodies specifically developed to recognize and react with the nucleocapsid protein of SARS-Cov-2.

• 1 disposable sterile cotton swab applicator for nasopharyngeal swab collection
• 1 Extraction tube

Test Procedure:

Unseal the canister and proceed to take the nasopharyngeal sample.

Place the cassette on a clean counter.

Pour the entire contents of the special sealed bottle into the test tube.

Place the cotton swab applicator inside the test tube and twist well (clockwise and anti-clockwise 2 times).

Remove the cotton swab applicator from the test tube and replace the cap.

Pour the mixture into the hole of the cassette you have already placed on the counter.

Read the reading after 15 minutes.

Result reading:

1 line: negative result

2 lines: positive result
